Adhesive Anti-slip Pads

After many years of trying to find an effective, more comfortable way to grip a gaming controller, it just didn’t seem to be out there.... Read More...

My hands tend to lightly sweat while gaming causing me to grip more firmly affecting my play. The sweat would cause my hands and fingers to slip on the controller and the thumbsticks causing play to stop to reset my grip. After researching, buying, using, and being unsatisfied with all the products that are currently on the market, I decided to create my own.

Many of the products on the market today are ineffective, inefficient, and not always practical to use. Some products consist of a tackey lotion applied to the hands that must be washed off. Other products include silicon finger sleeves or gloves that cause your hand to become too hot and lose your sense of touch and feel or controller thumbstick add-ons which make the thumbstick bulky and cumbersome. I wanted to create something that is effective, affordable, easy to use, and disposable. Anti-slip adhesive pads are applied to the skin in seconds and removed instantly with nothing to wash and no residue left on the skin. Gaming is just one application of use for this invention. Other examples may include the handling of intricate/small items, money/paper sorting, watch/jewelry repair, and more.

The excitement and escapism of gaming drive the desire to become masters at what we love and enjoy. eSports and the gaming industry collectively have a worldwide base of 3.1 billion players adding over 500 million new players in 2021 alone, and a staggering 275 million players competing in eSports tournaments with the top 10 eSports tournaments paying over $150 million in prize money in 2022. With the worldwide gaming industry projection to exceed $320 billion in revenue in 2023, there is a massive market demand for game-improving solutions within the gaming/eSports industry, and adhesive anti-slip pads will prove to be the best solution for gaming improvement.

About the developer

Chadwick Bender from Olathe, KS, created an effective, more comfortable way to grip a gaming controller when his hands started to sweat while playing a game. Chadwick contacted the Mars Rising Network and had a provisional and design patent application filed and had the invention designed properly so that he may see success with this great idea and turn it into a real product.

He is actively seeking a company that would have an interest in licensing the product for a royalty. Working with Mars Rising Network, this essential new design concept was refined and prepared to be presented as a commercial product.
